Moved in 2 months ago w/ this guy steve who had posted his extra room on craigslist. I'm moving out already! However when I did move in he not only encouraged me to paint but helped me paint my bathroom. Now that I'm moving out he asked that I repaint and so I did- good paint and four coats. He is unhappy w/ the paint job-, I think it looks great!
He wants to hire a professional to paint and take that money out of my deposit. Can I take him to small claims court?

You can try, but the likelihood is that his professional will testify that the job was not well done.
