Ive read all of those messages about heavy period/ light period. One thing I don't understand is that how do I know if I have a heavy period or was it normal period, I wouldn't tell if it does heavy period since I thought it was normal to me. So how do you explain the different of heavy period and normal period? Thanks.

To determine whether a period is heavy or light, usually you are asked how many times your pad or tampon needs to be changed. This is not how many times you want to change it but when is it saturated.

One to two big tampons on your heaviest day would be considered light. Having to change every hour, or more on the heaviest day would be very heavy bleeding.
