M y boyfriend has been on ssdi for the last 4 years. I had the understanding that the support is paid by the state. The state of Oregon has found him every time we have moved why hasn't paid the child support through ssdi? He can't try to work in his family business because he can't get a fishing licence. He hasn't tried to work until now and we really want him to succeed and get off ssdi. Since it says in the rears license is no good what can we do?:mad:

No, child suport is not paid though SSDI, a child of a parent receiving SSDI is often entitled to money but this is merely payments from the government for the child they get anyway.

Has he not went back to court and gotten the support lowered to the min they can take. Based on his income (or lack)
If it is a family business is there not some job he can do there??

No the only one available is a fishing one. Plus it will give enough money to support his current family any suggestions
