    Above ground pool cover water
Hi everyone is it OK to use the water on your above ground pool cover to help fill your pool?

You can but you will have to use more chemicals to clean the pool up. Just use the water don't get the leaves or debris in or that can lead to an algea problem.

Yep, vivi is correct. I would not because starting up a pool is hard enough without allowing a winters worth of dirty water and debris into the pool. I usually start draining my standing water off the covers several days before I remove the cover.
