    Tub Issues
Hi My name is Barb, I went to take a shower this morning and had no water pressure at my tub area. The sink is fine, to toilet flushes just fine, but no water at tub. I took off the spout, I pryed off the turn handle but nothing that I see is causing my water not to POUR out. I looked at the hot water heater and nothing looks wrong, which I question anyway since I am getting hot water everywhere else.

What is my next step? We have not changed anything so I do not believe that something is stuck in the pipes. I was concerned that living in Green Bay with negative temps might have had something to do with it, but again it's not affecting anything else.

    Give me guidance please.

Hi Barb, I grew up in Beloit but moved to Florida to escape the winters.
A few questions. What's the brand name of your faucet? One handle or two knobs? How old? Pump or city water? I'll wait on your answer. Tom

Well I don't really have anything on my pipes right now, I took everything off. I have one pipe for the handle to turn the water on/off. One pipe for the spout. I have a very light trickle, I can turn the water on/off but turn the adapter on the pipe for water control. (Make sense?)

I tried calling a plumber here and they said my pipes might be frozen, no, that's not it. I have warm water coming from the faucet, just not hard and I have perfect water coming to the sink right next to tub.

The pipes are exposed right now in the back of the wall and they are warm, so that's not my problem.

Not knowing the brand or model of the valve puts me at a disavantage. I can tell you to shut the water off to the valve and remove the cartridge and check the inlet ports for blockage. Before you reassemble turn the water back on for a minute to flush out the supplies. Now reassemble and test.
    Good luck, Tom
