How do I increase water pressure?
I am on a well with a pressure tank. My water pressure seems low. What should it be and how can I increase it?

Most control boxes are set at 20 PSI cut in and 40 PSI cut out. Or 30/50. Your choice.
First turnoff the power at the breaker box, then pull the cover off the pressure switch,(see image) and you will see two spring loaded bolts secured with nylon nuts. One tall, one short. To increase the cut in pressure, turn the nut on the tall bolt down. To increase the cut out pressure,(that's the one that will give you more pressure) turn the nut on the short bolt down. This should give you the additional pressure you desire. Don't forget to shut the pump off and bleed the pressure down. Then set the bladder tank pressure at 2 PSI Under the cut in pressure that you set your control box at. Turn the pump back on, pump to pressure and you're back in business. Tom

    Thanks

Your input did the trick. Low and high pressure shut off were set with reason, the air blader was 10 lb below the turn on pressure.
