    Where to get Cichlids?
I was wondering if anyone knew of a reputable cite to order African Cichlids? The stores in my area don't offer a very wide selection, and have recently doubled their prices. I figure, if I have to pay that much, I might as well get what I want. I've noticed several cites that will mail you cichlids, I just don't know which ones are the best.:D

I like Froogle for checking pricing.
    How do these prices look?

Once you narrow it down to a couple vendors, then do some Googling for reputation and feedback about them.

Good answer, Rick! Froogle is really great.

I'm curious though... how are they mailed? They're alive right? I guess live animals can go through the mail, probably as live cargo or something, but it just seems weird to me haha.

I don't know where you're located at, but here are a couple of sites that I know are really good - maybe they ship to your area.

This is a really great site - a little confusing to navigate at first, but you'll get the hang of it. I only know of them doing phone orders so you actually talk to a person.

This site is really good for African Cichlids from Lake Malawi and Lake Tanganyika in East Africa. Much easier site to navigate and they have really good prices.

PS You can read and see pictures on how to ship fish here.
