    Dog Eye Boogers?
I'm not sure if this is just a mexican belief but has anyone ever heard of putting a dogs eye boogers in your eyes. It supposedly enables you to see the spirit world but just the devil and demons. It is said you should never EVER try it because you will go crazy. It supposedly opens a portal in your eyes to the spirit world and I'm not sure if its possible to close it. Anyone else ever heard of this.and by the way it causes infections in the eye I think I'm reasearching it on Google and IDk it might just be ignorance and it can cause infections

No, have never heard of this but it sounds like a good way to get an eye infection.

Hi, linnealand, I think Armygirl means that if a dog licks a cut it heals up faster.

Well, it had to be that or the "dog eye booger" thing, which is disgusting by the way. :P naturally, since no quotes were used, it wasn't all that clear. The original post is so unusual that I wanted to know if she was referencing this possibly well known (and bizarre) claim. If she had been, well, I don't know about you, but more questions would definitely be following from my part! :)

I have also heard of it but I honestly do not know for sure that its true but it doesn't mean I don't believe it.

I have heard of some pretty strange tales but this "dog eye booger" thing is pretty far out there.

It does sound like an invitation to infections... at best.
