I need an algebraic equasion for volume
I am working on a project that I need an algebraic equasion written to find the volume of a rectangle 18 yards by 4 yards as I am putting in a concrete drive way. I know the cost of the concrete per yard and as mentioned above, I know the length is 18 yards by width of 4 yards. The surface area = lw^ Thanks,

    The volume of a rectangle is zero. Volume = L X W x H = 18 x 4 x 0 = 0

You need the thickness of the cement in yards and your answer will be in cubic yards.
Cement is sold by the cubic yard. Cement might be 4-6" thick. 6" = .166 yards. At 6" thick you would need 11.952 cubic yards of cement.
