Want to know if you will die in 4 years?
OK me neither but anyway I heard about this on the news how a study came up with a survey for older adults to determine you chance of living beyond 4 years. I did some searches and found a site offering the survey: http://www.clinicallyinformed.com/health_survey.php

I was luckily under 4% but my mom was at 64%. Seems a little basic but interesting.

Those are just actuarial statistics that do more to help decide on insurance costs than to give individuals factual information.

Clearly we all know that the older we get the closer to death we are.

That site is a for profit site. No reputable medical person would tell you that the information is applicable to you - or even worth looking at.

    Jusy my opinion.:o

Unless that website has a direct link to GOD then I think that nobody can say when death will come to anyone... Rick makes a good point " FOR PROFIT SITE " say no more

Statistically, you have more chance of being killed by a pair of trousers, than by filling in an on-line form.Total bunkum. :(

Now if those trousers get zipped up too quickly with a vital organ in the wrong place, then... :p

Well actually this survey is based on actual medical information and is 81% accurate which I think is pretty good. You can read about it here:

What site today is not for profit?? That is irrelevant.

RickJ No respose? You seemed so sure about what you were talking about in your first response. I guess now that you see there is "reputable medical data" to support it you have nothing to say.

    Hi,
I saw the same TV News Network's program on this. Problems with breathing are associated with shorter lives. Many of us don't want to think about it, but as this program indicated, it was true in about 81% of the cases studied. Life Insurance and Medical Insurance companies have these questions on applications, with sometimes, Medical Doctor follow-ups for more information. I went through filling out applications like these in the past couple of months.
    Very insteresting.

LoL this is the best post I've read in along time :D talaniman

I never trust anything that is just based on a few random questions... In this day and age they could come up with something better than 81%:p
