should I call him or not
    Hi all,

I would like to hear your thoughts on this. I am divorced from my ex with 2 kids. Out of nowhere I get a call from my ex boyfriend whom I had not spoken to in over 15yrs. We were very excited to talk to each other. We talked for about 2weeks mostly calls initiated by me. He returned the calls on time when he said he would. He is going through med sch and always complained of being tired but I am not sure if he is just making excuses. I stopped sech him and he called to give me a message fro someone. That was the last time I talk to him. 6 months later he calls after I sent group emails to everyone on my mailing list including him. He has called 2x and I have missed both calls. He left a message 1x. My question is should I call him back or not. I really really like him and he knows but I do not want him to see me as being desperate. It has been almost a week I am tempted to call but I want him to call again if he is iterested. I am doing the right thing, he may think I am ignoring him but I believe that if he wants me he will call. When we talked b/4 he told me he likes me and we talked about rekindlig our relationship and he seemed OK about the kids. He has a child from a previous relationship. I do not know what to think, I am cofused. Any imput will be appreciated.

You never know, he may be thinking the same thing as you are. Hoping that you will call him. If you two have talked about rekindling your relationship and things like that, I don't think you calling after a week would seem desperate at all. And you said he called and left a message, usually a sign that the person would like you to call them back. If you like him, call him.

Call him. A relationship does not have to happen. Isn't he your friend?

I agree with the others, call him. If he's in med school he has a heavy study load, they have to get excellent marks in order to stay in the program. He has good reason to be tired, don't think he's making excuses, cut him some slack there. Good luck!

2 missed calls and it is how much later that you haven't returned his call.
You would not sound desperate returning calls but you will look uninterested enough that he may give up on you if you do not return his calls.
