I recently did a register clean and obviously screwed up my AOL.
Can't log in. Always get the message that I need to restore the snmaster.idx file.
I have undeleted it but don't know where to restore it to for functionality.
Thanks for help.

I would try this:
Go to start>run and type in msconfig
Click launch system restore and from there restore to the nearest point. It will restore the file to its original spot.
Restore snmaster.idx file
How do I install snmaster.idx file?
You have to uninstall AOL
-Go to add remove programs and unisntall any AOL applications there
-Go to where AOL was installed (c:\program files\aol) and delete all AOL folders
Re-install AOL and you should be fine
