vinyl tubing for plumbing
The water line for my outdoor hose runs just under the I-beams of my basement ceiling. It is currently 3/4" copper. I want to put that into the ceiling so I can finish the basement off. I found 3/4" clear flexible vinyl tubing at the home improvement store that can be put through the holes in each I-beam so it is above the ceiling. I have attached that to the copper line on each end with a copper joint piece and a hose clamp. I turned the water on and left it overnight. I don't have any leaks or anything and the tubing seems to be working. Is this a sufficient resolution for this application or will it not last?
Thanks,
