    Child support rights?
My husbands' ex-girlfriend who puposely went after him after we were married finally got what she wanted. He did the most stupid thing in the world and fell into her trap, one day. Now she has tried to say she is pregnant 3 weeks after the fact, and we have written proof that she said she wants no money from him or me and she wants him to have nothing to do with "them at all. Now we have no idea if she is even telling the truth? I think she is trying to ruin our marriage and lying about the whole thing. But my question is if it turns out to be true and it is his, we want NOTHING to do with it, and we have proof she wants nothing from us and for him to not be involved in any way, can we fight her if she tries to come after us for money?

If she can prove that your husband is the baby's biological father, she can come after him for child support.

It's too early to tell... why not just keep calm and keep your hubbie on a "tight leash".. if it happened once, it's likely to happen again..

The child has rights and the mother cannot sign away those rights. If she applies for public assistance, then the state WILL come after the father for support, no matter what she signed. What you would be better off doing is demanding a paternity test immediately after birth, if the tests shows he's the father, then file for full custody.
