I too am interested in opening my own reception/event site. I am working on my feasibility study, marketing and promotions plan. Lots of work, but I am having trouble with the research. Are there any websites that you have found that will help with the research.

I just moved your question to a separate thread of its own that you had posted as an answer to someone else's old question so that yours would get noticed more. This place doesn't operate the same way that a chat room does. In order for a new question to get noticed, you need to post them as new, separate threads.

If you look down at the bottom of this page, you will see questions that have been similar to yours. You might want to click on them to see what the answers have been.

You could also type combinations of the words reception hall or banquet hall into the search function at the top of this page and find links to additional questions on this site that have been similar to yours.
