I have a 2005 F150 and I am having problems with the power windows. I have changed the main switch, but that did not help. When I press a buttom to open a window, the lights on the buttons go off and the windows do not move. For a while this only happned part of the time. However, now they never works.

. Check all under-dash and under-hood fuses with a test light or multimeter.

. The lift motor may need replacing--remove the door panel and check things out.

Could the lift motor cause all the windows to stop working?
