I am allergic to bee's... will die if I get bit and don't get a shot with in 10 minutes... I use these bee traps... I got mine at menards... you fill them with fruit juice, sugar and a piece of fruit... the wasp goes in... can't get out and drowns. I have several in our yard and they work great. I paid about 6 dollars each.

You need to locate the nest of the wasps first. Then at night - not in the daytime - take a good wasp spray and kill the wasps while they are on the nest. You have to be quick or have someone else do this for you. If you do this right the nest will be dead. Then the next day knock down the nest and throw it in the garbage. Wasps will keep reusing the same nest until it is taken down and removed. You need to be very aware of just where the nests are and get to them early so the wasps don't multiply too much. If the nest is high up in a tree, then the traps work just as effective.
