    Reverse mortgage
I know how reverse mortgage it works. But suppose the house is owned jointly by husband and wife.
The husband is over 62. But the wife is not. What happens to the house if the husband dies.
Since both names appear on the deed?

Usually one sets up a reverse mortgage to allow the surviving spouse to live in the house until he or she dies or wants to move out. Like annuities, there are a million and one ways to sructure the details on these things. And like annuities, IMO there are a million and one ways to confuse the "clients" who partake in them. Caveat Emptor!

Normally the reverse mortgage is done to the couple jointly, with the money depending on their ages. So the age of the youngest will also be used to determine the terms of the mortgage
