I think you need to put on those glasses and read the instructions here. Your post was moved from Forum Help which is clearly marked as ONLY for questions about this site. To get there you had to scroll past the Health & Wellness forum where the Vision forum is located.

If you find you can't read close up without the glasses, then you need them. Most drug stores that sell the reading glasses, have a test stand for you to tell how strong you need.

For a true test of your vision you need to go to an optometrist or ophthalmologist.

If you don't need them to see further away, then you don't need glasses.
If you can't read without reading glasses, you need reading glasses.

You may get a bio focal type reading glass from the eye doctor that is clear but has a reading glass build in, so you don't have to carry a reading pair with you.

For a real test you go to the eye doctor and have a professoinal eye exam which will include other tests also.

I agree with both. Go to your eye doctor and get an eye exam, that is really the only real way to tell whether you really need reading glasses and what power you need.
