    Recently changed the water filter in my Matag side by side refrigerator and the change light stayes on.

    Have you tried unplugging the fridge for about 2 minutes to resest the motherboard?

    Darn. Then I guess the light will have to stay on until it goes out. Sometimes that turn off the fridge or unplug it works.
