    Shower Head Vibration
I just moved into a new apartment and the shower head makes a vibration sound when you turn it all the way to hot.

If the handle isn't all the way to hot, then the water is lukewarm at best, but there is no vibration sound.

The shower head does is not adjustable.

I would describe the vibration sound as being a steady vibration, knocking sound. Occasionally the shower pressure will spike up and the vibration will stop for one to two seconds, then resume vibrating.

What could possibly be causing this, and how do I fix it? Thanks!

    Hey Shower:

You don't fix it...;) Your landlord fixes it!

By your description.. most likely, it is not the shower head, but more so, that the shower valve is an issue.

If you really want to try to repair this yourself (ask landlord's permission to do this first, as legally you are liable for any damage from your repairs)... Then let us know as much as you can about the valve...

One... two, or three handle shower valve? Name on valve.. Any chance can post a picture of valve..

You decide. If you want to do this... there are more than a few people here that can help you... :)

Let us know what you think... Mark
