    Background checks
My husband is being hired by a credit union (not working with the money) and had to be fingerprinted to be bonded. About 11 years ago he had a DUI which followed all the requirements by the courts and he had a solicitation charge which he had expunged from his record I think in 2002. Will these things show up in his record and is he bondable?
    We live in California.

I doubt that an 11 yo dwi will disqualify him from this position.

As long as it was a misdemeanor and not a felony conviction.

The solicitation charge, if it is really expunged, should not even exist in his record but if it does, might be more of an issue than the dwi.

    Good luck to him!

A explunged record will not show up for a bond background check. The old DUI will most likely show up, but unless the job requires driving a car, I see no issue with a bond.
