I am thinking about putting a lint filter on my drain hose for my washer. There seem to be several types of filters with all types of open area specifications so my question is do I need to be concerned about restricting the flow of the water. I am concerned about causing problems with the pump. I have a newer Maytag front loading washer. What are your thoughts.
