I am a new member to this web site. My internet does not work but I have aim and my contacts come up and I can chat with them. My connection to the wireless works fine because I called the cable company and they ran a diagnostic test, it came up fine. I don't really know what the problem is. Any help will be beneficial.

How are you connecting with the internet? Phone, Cable, Wireless?

How did they verify your connection if you are not connected?

You MUST be connected if you are able to chat?

What message do you get when you open your web browser?

I have internet through the cable. I am connected because I can chat, but when I try to access internet explorer or Firefox, the message reads server unavailable or webpage not found. I was reading online at the HP website and it said that I might need to reset internet explorer. They verified my coonnection by pinging it.
