    Recovery after Crown Lengthening
What can I expect during recovery after having crown lengthening? I am having it to correct a 'gummy smile.' Will the gums grow back over the teeth. What procedure would prevent this? Laser or cutting?

The best advice for you would be to talk with your local dentist and see what they have to say... As they will be aware of your oral history!

From friends that have had treatment for the same kind of things, they have said that cutting was better than laser treatment, but again your dentist will go over all the options with you.

    Hope your treatment goes well.

I could have gone to work the next morning with zero problems. It's an inconvenience at worst.

Cutting is better you have o reflect the gum tissue to see if bone has to be removed (gums will always regrow about 3 milimetres past the bone)
