Need help wanted to know it the kenmore 80 series dryer with a four prong plug can be wire for a 3 prong socket

Yes - very easy. But a three prong dryer plug and hook it up with red on left side, black on right side, and white in middle. There won't be a connection for the green screw. No big deal. Plug it in with the circuit breaker off and then flip the breaker - U good to go !
