Samsung LCD TV has white lines running up the screen horizontally
My Samsung 40' LCD TV has two horizontal white lines constantly running up the screen. I just got the TV in November. Does anyone know what may be causing this? I checked the cable, and it still does it when I turn the cable off. The lines are not heavy, but are still visible most of the time. Please Help!!

You may need to have the bulb changed. The bulb should last up to four years but sometimes you get a dud. It also depends on whether you bought the TV new in a box or got a discount because it was a display TV in the store. If that's the case, you don't know how long that TV ran each day or for how many days it was on display. I recommend a Extended Warranty offered in the store next time you purchase ANY TV. They cover bulb replacement and one bulb costs the same as a FOUR YEAR warranty, so it pays for itself, several times!
