    Nipple piercing concern
I got my nipples done yesterday. As I looked today I am not really feeling the look. I would like to take them out, will they my nipples look normal if I take them out, or will they be deformed. I don't want to take them out if they are going to look nasty after removing them.

No they won't look normal. They will look permanently hard. I would leave them in until they have healed. You prob just aren't used to them yet. My hubby had his done and had to take them out when he went active duty, now they are all messed up... LOL

They do not look permanently hard for all people -- me being one of them. I have had mine done and mine do not look permanently hard.

They should look normal for the most part with the exception of a little scarring. It will still appear as if there are holes there, but they are actually closed on the inside of the hole. For example, I can still get a ring into the holes in mine just the tiniest bit, but not very far.

You may like the look better after you are able to change the jewelry. If it was done correctly, it should have been done with rings. I personally do not like the look of rings either -- I prefer barbells. You may like the look better when you are able to put in any jewelry you want.

If you do decide to take them out, make sure you continue to care for them as if they still had jewelry in them -- keep cleaning them. Even though there is no jewelry in them, they can still get infected, so be sure to keep caring for them.

    Good luck! :)

If you remove your jewellery your nipples WON'T look permanently messed up. I would recommend giving it a little time, let them heal, change your jewellery then make a decision. However, if you want to remove them now, make sure that you sterilise the area around the piercing, keep your hands clean whilst touching the piercing and sterilise the nipple once you've taken them out.

Make sure you do keep on cleaning them though... just because there is no jewellery in them doesn't change the fact that they're basically an open wound that can be more prone to infection than when there is jewellery in them.
