White pipe in basement floor, what is it?
I have about a 4'' white PVC pipe coming out of the floor about 4-5 inches in my laundry room. It is capped so it makes me think it is drain to sewer. Is this for a toilet, shower, both, neither? What is throwing me off is that it is coming out of the floor so much.

I am trying to finish my basement and plumbing is definitely not my strength.

    Appreciate any feedback.

What you have is a stubup for a toilet. Anything else stubbed up? Tom

Yep, Tom's got it. A shower would be 2" and a tub 1 1/2 " sink 1 1/4', the first two would be trapped in the concrete. I would expect these other drains to be there too unless someone just wanted one big clean out in the basement.
