    SSI and cash advance loans
    Can someone on SSI have a lien put on their house for an unpaid cash advance loan? It is a $400.00 loan.

    That sounds really extreme, but yes, it could happen just for 400.

    Yes, the only protection you have on SS is from garnisheeing the benefits - except for child support.

    SS does not affect anything else - including property.
