    Balancing equasions for Chem
    OK so I need to know how to balance the I guess you would call it equasions...

    • magnesium chloride plus sulfiric acid

    • magnesium plus nitrogen

    • hydrochloric acid plus sodium hydroxide

    For example to balance oxygen plus hydrogen you would put...
    O2 +2H2---->2H2O

    Thanks

    All right, remember, Magnesium's charge is +2, and Chlorine's charge is -1
    so it would be MgCl2 and H2SO4; 3Mg+2N=Mg3N2 (Not sure about this one, so check with your Chemistry teacher) HCl+NaOH=H2O+NaCl

    How do you write a balanced equation for Cu +H2O> CuO + H2?
