You really should take showers this time of the month. You're period is something that comes naturally and you can't really control. I mean you can control it somewhat with pills and pads and tampons. If this was at the beginning of your period it makes sense, as most of the time its heavier as it starts, and then tapers off.
If there is some other reason, then hopefully someone else here can enlighten us both. But I don't see this as abnormal.
Not being a bath person (I prefer showers) I have never had this problem, but I would have thought that there would be no physical reason why the bleeding should stop because you are in the bath, I would agree with ChihauahuaMomma, and take a shower when on a period.
Baths/showers, whatever you prefer, it doesn't matter. I'm a bath person myself.
Now, has your period slowed down? If not, how many pads are you going through in an hour?
My period was still normal, and I use tampons.
Baths don't cause your period to stop. If you have a bath and your flow is lighter, you may not notice it in the bath water. If your flow happens to be heavier at the moment, you could definitely notice some coming out, even if you're using a tampon.
If it bothers you, take a shower during your period or have a shorter bath. :)
