    What is Bearings
    The bearing of a ship S from a lighthouse A is 55.A second lighthouse B is due east of A. The bearing of s from b is 302. Find the magnitude of angle ASB.

    Actually, these are azimuths not bearings.

    Anyway, The bearing from A to S is 50 deg, therefore the angle of the triangle is 90-50=40 degrees.

    The other bearing is 302, so it turns clockwise from north (y-axis) around to 302, which is 302-270=32, the other angle of our triangle.

    It should be easy to find the other angle now? Here's the diagram:
