I have been having irregular periods since the very first time. And also I have recently started to bleed between periods.:confused: Is this normal? Or should I see a doctor?

How old are you and how long have you been having your periods? Do you really mean irregular or are you one of those people who think that a day or two off means irregular? (have to ask)

I'm 17 years old now... its been 6 years since I started having my periods. I usually don't have periods for 2 or three months... not just two or three days...

Well, irregular periods aren't uncommon, however, they are troublesome. Go see an ob-gyn, and chances are, he/she can put you on a hormone control medication (most likely birth control) so you can have better control of your cycle.
