    College Tuition Laws for parents
    In the state of CA, is a divorced parent legally responsible to pay college tuition through any know family laws?

    The divorced parent will be liable for what ever the child custody and support order says. What does it say?

    There isn't any order or other statements relating to college tuition

    The other parent can of course file to admend the court order, But you should no be liable for anything that is not in the court order.

    The answer is no. Collage has to be agreed upon as far as tuition goes. That only applies to state of Cali. Child support only goes to 18 or emancipation or until graduating HS. Like if child turns 18 in Jan and school ends in June then child support would continue through till June ( graduation )
