I suggest that you have a talk with your mother first, explain what is bothering you and that you'd like to live with her. She might have other plans. If she agrees to your move, then the two adults should talk first and decide what is best for their children. That is what parents are for, separated or not -they are still responsible for you. If they share custody, then it is her job to make sure the kids are happy in their environment also. If this does not work, contact proper authorities to overlook how your dad is adhering to his responsibilities, and if not - he needs to change.

So, first talk to your mother.

Good luck, and keep us posted.

It might help if you keep a ledger of your daily routines and be truthful. That way, if it comes to any arguments or legal actions, this ledger of events might help you. How are you doing in school? You might even get assistance from counsellors there if you feel you are being neglected at home.

    I went through this.

I lived with my dad and couldn't stand so I told my mom I wanted to move in with her and she said OK.

I told my dad I love you but this isn't the place for me and I can't live where I'm not happy and my dad had no choice but to let me go I mena your dad can't strap you to a chair and forcr you to stay.

Well actually yes your dad can force you to live where the court order says you have to live. If you go, he can have the police drag you back and file in family for her to be in contempt of court and also for interfering with custody.
