    Water leak in basement
I have a leak in my basement floor coming from a hole in the concrete. This hole has been here since we moved in and has never been a problem before. Since last week when we had rain all day, we.ve has water coming from this hole(there is a pvc pipe in the hole) and also water accumulating on the west walls. I've widened the hole to try to find the source of the leak, but no luck. Any advice? Ron

This probably is not a plumbing problem but more of a foundation leak. What purpose does the PVC pipe serve, what's it connected to? Do you have a sump pump in the basement? Back to you.

No there is not a sump pump in basement. As far as the pipe it is running on an angle from southeast to northwest and I haven't been able to see where it is connected to. Ron
