I don't think I've heard of any anti-tb therapy medication that causes a decrease in chances of conception... although I do advise that if you are currently on anti-tb therapy, such as streptomycin, that you speak to your doctor before you try to conceive a child, as streptomycin is known to cause congenital defects and interfere with the development of the ear of the fetus.

Once you are pregnant, there are plenty of anti-tb therapy medications out there that have been proven to be safe for the unborn baby, during pregnancy and while breast-feeding.

I can't stress it enough that you do speak to your doctor about trying to conceive.

    Best wishes.
