    Legal Separation
I live in NY State and got separation papers off the internet. I filled them out but how do I get my wife to sign them? Can I have them served on her? If so How do I go about it?

I'm confused by your question and would have to see the form you intend to use. In NYS a legal separation is a CONTRACT between the parties, not a serve and respond action. A year after the signed legal separation is filed with the Court if you both have lived up to the terms and conditions of the agreement either party can file for divorce using the agreement as grounds.

In relatively few cases you can get a Court-ordered separation if you have no grounds for divorce and it's your last option but I haven't seen one granted in many years.
