I have one question regarding inheritance.

My Mom passed away in June 2002, and my Dad remarried Dec 2002. My Dad is 85 lives in California and has dementia. All his bank accounts are joined accounts with him and his new wife and he doesn't have a will or living trust setup. All his money or property are earned prior to this new marriage, just wondering if his children entitle to anything?

Anything joint is owned by the survivor when the partner dies.

Children are not "entitled" to inherit; that decision is up to the parent. At this point your father is legally unable to make a Will.

That is not to say that your stepmother couldn't give you a gift or gifts but there is no such requirement.
