    I believe you have a Hot Surface ignition on that unit. It has a pilot but you do not lite it with a match it is done electrically with a HSI glow bar. When the unit calls for heat it should have this device glowing and then the pilot will lite. Note: these go bad. Your unit probably needs a good burner area cleaning and make sure that once running all the burners lite right away. These Goodman units do not like dirt or dust on the burner lite areas.

    If you have a meter you can check the HSI glow bar. It is usually black near the end and has two wires going to it.
