    How do I reboot a ibm laptop if I don't have a recovery disc? I need help thank you

    Can you clarify your question. Rebooting never requires a Recovery disk.

    You don't need the recovery disc for a reinstall, but you WILL need a Windows disc to rebuild the operating system at least.
    Many computer manufactures will sell you the required recovery disc for your system.

    Depends on the brand as some have a hidden recovery partition for this purpose.
