    Could I be pregnant.
Ok, another pregnancy question. I just had a baby 5 months ago, and my periods have not been that regular since...

I have Type 2 diabetes that I got with my first son, who is now 6 years old. My Endocrinologist just put me on this new shot, no insulin, but another type on March 12th. I got my period on March 13th, but now on April 12th, I still have not gotten my period.

Can diabetic medications affect your menstrual cycle being irregular??

I did have sex once with my boyfriend between March 13th and now, but I have taken two pregnancy test and they were both negative. I just want to know if diabetic medications that my body is not used to, could affect my menstrual cycle??

Actually, type 2 diabetes is directly linked to irregular menstrual cycles.

Also, starting a new regimen of anything (diet, exercise, medicine, etc) can have an effect on your cycle.

Like I said in your other post, I suggest you wait about a week and then take another hpt.

Thank you for the advice, I will definitely wait a week before I test again.
