    My brother takes triliptal medication he has bipolar he sometimes takes more then he should but my question is sometimes he can't see right his eyes flip and I guess he can't focus on things can someone explain to me why this is happening and what does this mean when his eyes do this thank you

    Does he seem to have double vision? If that is the case, he needs to report this to his doctor immediately.

    Double vision and abnormal vision are side effects of this medication. It is a seizure med, does he have seizures?

    No he does not have seizures never has he is being treated for bipolar only and yes he said he has double vision what could happen if he continues to take these he is addicted to taking them they are for his bipolar but also he gets high off them I try to tell him but he won't listen could something be seriously wrong

    It is used as an investigational med for bipolar.

    If he continues and ODs on this he could have heart failure from hypotension and possibly rectal hemorrhage.

    He was in the hospital before for taking to many they kept him in there cause his sodium level was to low was this because of the pills because about a year ago his sodium was to high
