Okay this is my 2nd post tonight and so far no answers on my first one anyway I have another question I was told that there is enough sperm on a mans penis from the last time he masturbated to get a girl pregnant. Is that a false or true statement?

Where is he going to put his penis, and how long has it been since he masturbated?

Bottom line, if you use protection it won't matter much. No birth control method is 100% but having unprotected sex is just plain silly, unless you want a baby.

Remember, it only takes one little sperm to produce a child.

If a man has urinated after the last time he's ejaculated, the chance of viable sperm being transferred with later sex is decreased. Note I did NOT say zero chance... I said its less likely with flushing from urination.

Also, the time between intercourse and the previous ejaculation makes a difference. Sperm need a warm, moist environment to remain viable... and even then, they lose much of their motility within an hour...

So... the short answer is always use birth control if you want to minimize the chances of pregnancy. If you have unprotected sex, at the very least try to hit the bathroom before to flush out the guys... and then pray... because unprotected sex is just dumb when you aren't willing to be a daddy to a child you fathered.

My son was conceived using birth control with a 2-5% common failure rate AND we were tracking her fertility cycle.

So... if you don't want to be a dad, best bet is to not have sex. If you are going to have sex, wrap it up.

Probably not, but I think every woman here has gotten pregnant from a *probably not*. My probably not was a miscarriage. I was lucky.
