This is a 480v 240v motor it is wired 480v there are 9 termial points there are 3 jumpers they run from top to middle my t leds are on botton where do I move the jumpers to make it 240v

Here is a visual Wiring Diagram reference for common configurations. You might want to confirm the connections with a meter before applying power. For low voltage the motor coils are wired in parallel, for high voltage they are in series.Quote:

I agree with Wash and Stan. I have seen too much poor DIY work end up cost more in the end not to mention unsafe.
But on other hand if you are interested in how it works, The windings are wired in series for the 480v and wired in parellel for the 240v. Putting 240v across each winding(Basic Ohms Law)
