    Multiple H1B visa issue
    Hi,

I'm currently in a bit of a bind regarding multiple H1 visas.

I currently work in a research organisation on an H1. A friend's company wants to hire me, and I'm interested in taking up a second employment provided they can sponsor a second H1, and my first H1 is not invalidated. Their lawyer tells me that this is possible, and very easy.

The lawyer stated that they'd have to just apply for an H1 transfer, and that the first H1 will still be valid. I'm a bit sceptical, and I wanted to be confirm this.

Can anyone confirm/refute this for me? An additional explanation would be welcome

    Thanks,
    Sei

Your H1 with current employer is valid till it was canceled by your employer or the momemt your employer stopped generating paystups for you (as per law h1b become void if you don't get pay for a month, and you have maximum of 10days to tranfer to someone who is ready to sponsor you h1b visa). At later stage of transfer approval if you decide to continue with your current employer you can do that provided you haven't joined in your friends company. You can hold Multiple H1b and it is legal to work for 2 employers provided both aware about your multiple h1b.
