Please explain your problem a little better. What vis it you wish to do? Pull and cap the open hole off? Pull and reinstall a new toilet. What?? Regards, Tom

First shut the water off under the tank. Now flush the toilet holding the lever down to drain the tank. Take a sponge to remove the rest of the remaining water.
Now dip and sponge as much of the water out of the bowl as possible.
Caution! There will still be a gallon or so of water left in the trap that you can't see so keep the bowl upright when you pull it.
Now place come cardboard on the floor and .remove the two nuts from the closet bolts. Pull the toilet straight up and set it on the cardboard. Jam rags down the closet bend for a temporary cap. Good luck, Tom
