    Irregular periods
I have a really perplexing issue here. Ok. I haven't had intercorse since like the last week of January. I've had two perids since then. Fourteen days after my last period, I had three days of this brownish spotting. I can't understand why. My mom said it has something to do with the moon cylcle. [While this was occurring there WAS a new moon.] So, I don't know what my cycle should be like now. I guess I've missed my period, I'm having sharp pains, and my breast hurt. Just to be safe I took different pregnancy tests. [I doubt I'm pregnant though since the last time I had sex was MORE than two months ago] they all [I took 4! Lol] came out negative. So if I'm not pregnant.. . what's going on here?

Are you on birth control pills? Midcycle bleeding can be from a few different things... breakthrough bleeding, ovulation spotting, hormone fluctuations, etc.. When are you next due for your period? If it is soon, the discomfort you feel now may be leading up to it. See what happens this month with your period.

My last period started feb 28 and ended march 6th, so I was due for a period on the 4th of this month. The spotting I was talking about occurred on the 24th through the 26th of march. I'm not on the pill. :( this is al just really confusing. Could it be stress? I am going through a lot of emotional stress.

Sure, it could be stress... can sometimes cause a cycle to be off. Since you have already tried several pregnancy tests, and your last "normal" period was the end of Feb. see what happens in the next week or so. Your period may be late this month, or you may skip it altogether. If you skip this month, might try a blood test at the doctors just to rule out possible pregnancy (they don't always show up for quite sometime on urine tests for some women). It would be the first thing your doctor would do anyway, rule out pregnancy. Or, you could wait until May and see what happens when your period would be due then and visit your doctor if need be.

Ok. I didn't think this would be important to include in my original question, but I've been doing some thinking, and I don't know.. . maybe there could be a possibility of this qualifying as a contributing factor? I'm bulimic.. . would this affect my period in any way, or coupled with stress, could this produce the side effects I'm having?

Most definitely! Bulimia can affect many things in your body, your periods being one of them.

Since this thread was started in 2008, I'm fairly sure the OP has an answer by now.
