    trigonometry and bearings
Can you please tell me what does it mean when it says:-
'The difficulty with trigonometric problems involving bearings is dealing with those angles greater than 90 degrees whose trigonometric ratios have negative values. To avoid this we have to find a right- angled triangle that we can readily use.'
How do you find a right angle triangle, the book has given me an example but I'm very confused.

Post a particular problem. That would be the best way to explain it.
